Despite serious health challenges this year Alistair continues to produce exceptional work, with six major canvases in the year to date. As I photographed them for this blog, Big Flight, a beautiful 1991 painting that captures the spirit of life, caught my eye. It wasn't on this blog and so I have added it. Better late than never.

I am particularly fortunate to see these paintings 'in the flesh' so to speak. I do not think that their magnificence, colours, dimension, skill or impact is well represented by the small shots on this blog. 

However, for those who enjoy his work I hope my updates with his latest work continues to capture your imagination, as it does my own. 

Hopefully we will all be able to see them displayed where they should be, in an Art Gallery one day soon!
